To be honest I've never been lucky, but apparently everything changed when I moved to the Netherland...my new Country loves me!
One of my favorite page for the giveaways is for sure the Vosges Paris Concept Page, created from the talented Desiree {the mind behind the lovely blog Vosgesparis}.
Anyway, few weeks ago I was reading the blog and I immediately fall in love for this snake wardrobe, designed by Maike Timmermann and produced by the dutch company Orphan Socks.

Office Reveal!
Completed....kinda.
So If you follow along here on this little bloggy, you are privy to a lot of my work happenings.
You know that last week I got a phone call that I needed to magically make a miracle and vamp up a big ole beige cooperate office into something snazzy, cool, and rap mogul worthy.
And that I somehow needed to magically make this miracle happen in one week
Well here we are, one week later and somehow, by the grace of caffeine and AMAZINGLY TALENTED FABULOUS WORKER BEES (who put in 16 hour days right along side me......btdubbs)
We were able to pull it off
Lets take a look at the

Painted all the beige a nice cool gray and painted the doors black
used a green, wood, white, black, and grey color scheme throughout...
Got down with some MASSIVE graphics....
P.S. this office just needed some huge letters and giant triangles in its life...no?
The succulents really added some vavavoom and color to the wood wall.

It is my fave part of the whole design.
I have been wanting to do one of these somewhere for a while.
I finally got my chance.
I obviously pulled this one outta thin air...
Some of you may know, most of you prob don't but
MY BROTHER is a contractor extraordinaire and the one who whipped this wall together for me....
he is one talented son of a gun who builds some pretty spectacular shite.....
isn't he special??

Unfortunately the one other big vavoom of the space got all screwed up, and in the 11th hour did not happen.
We will be doing a phase two soon of the office which will have this massive wall mural image in the Companies Presidents office that I can't wait to show you once that happens.
My camera battery is dead so you are just seeing the iPhone images we took.

in the meanwhile...
I have yet to spend any quality time with my family in a week and no valentines day with the Duck so
today I am taking the day off (sorta) and spending it with my babes.

Inspirations for the entry
Monday I told you that during the weekend I looked for some inspirations for my entry.
Luckily the new house has a very spacious entryway, with the original stairs and a lovely black and white floor (in dutch it's called "terrazzo", in italian "graniglia").
I think it's very important give a personal touch to this part of the house, it represents the "welcome" and reflects the style of the all house. So I'm looking for something interesting, fresh and young. At the moment the only element that I'm sure to use is my vintage bench, maybe in a new color.
And here a gallery that I've collected on Pinterest that could be useful to think things through!

Lunedì vi ho detto che durante il fine settimana ho cercato alcune ispirazioni per il mio ingresso.
Per fortuna la nuova casa ha un ingresso molto spazioso, con le scale originali e un bel pavimento bianco e nero (in olandese si chiama "terrazzo", in italiano "graniglia").
Penso che sia molto importante dare un tocco personale a questa parte della casa, rappresenta una specie di "benvenuto" e riflette lo stile di tutta la casa. Quindi sto cercando qualcosa di interessante, fresco e giovane. Al momento l'unico elemento che sono sicura di usare è la mia panchetta vintage, magari in un nuovo colore.
Ed ecco una galleria che ho raccolto su Pinterest che potrebbe essere utile per chiarirmi le idee!

Weekend and vtwonen
Hi everyone, happy new week!
How was your weekend? Finally I'm not sick anymore, so I enjoyed my husband company: we've been to the flea market {great finds!}, to the record store {we bought two vintage LP} and yesterday we organized a dinner with a couple of friends.
I've also worked on new inspirations for the new house..I have some trouble with the entrance..I would like to find some fresh ideas, something easy and young. Maybe in the next days I'll show you my inspirations so you can give me some advice!
And this week on my coffee table there is the new vtwonen issue! It's always a joy when I find this magazine in my mailbox ;-)

Come avete passato il fine settimana? Finalmente i miei acciacchi sono passati, quindi mi sono goduta la compagnia di mio marito: siamo stati al mercatino {grandi acquisti!}, al negozio di dischi {abbiamo comprato due LP vintage} e ieri abbiamo organizzato una cena con un paio di amici.
Ho anche lavorato alla ricerca di nuove ispirazioni per la casa..ho qualche problema con l'ingresso..mi piacerebbe trovare alcune idee nuove, qualcosa di fresco e giovane. Magari nei prossimi giorni posterò una bella gallery di cosa ho in mente così potete darmi qualche consiglio!
E questa settimana sul mio tavolino c'è il nuovo numero di vtwonen! È sempre una gioia quando trovo questa rivista nella mia cassetta delle lettere ;-)
